This makes perfect sense to me but probably won't to any of you. One of my friends has a niece that has epilepsy and she said that over time her niece is no longer "all there" mentally. I have epilepsy, as some of you know, and have had it for 10 or 11 years. I can safely say that my connection to reality is slowly, but steadily, declining. I'm there enough to see this but not there enough to stay connected for any decent length of time.
It makes sense to me.
