I've gone from bi to lesbian. I'm actually glad of that. It makes things, at least in my mind, some what simpler. Don't ask me to explain that last statement, I doubt I could. And because I don't care what any of you think, I'm going to ramble on.
I, personally, think that gays/lesbians are more enlightened than straight people. I mean think about it, honestly think about it. Because they are the same sex they can much better understand some of what the other is going through. Another woman will be more understanding about their lesbian partner's period pain. See? And there aren't any accidental pregnancies in same sex relationships. Every child they have is wanted.
I'm not hating on straight people. Nor am I saying that gays/lesbians are better than others. But they're just as good. They don't deserve all the hate they get. People are afraid of what they don't understand. Whether they want to admit it or not. But, like integration, this change is inevitable.
So,
Go with the flow. Accept things you can't change. Know that nothing is better than an open mind. That an open mind can be a beautiful, wonderful thing. It can lead you down a wonderful path. And is the only mindset that will do you any good.
