Mild concussion

Yeah, so a group of us went to a roller rink yesterday. It was a lot of fun except that I fell head first three times and had to spend four hours in the emergency room. On the plus side, we were about to leave when I fell the third time and got a big gash on my head and people officially started worrying about a possible concussion. So I got to have two hours of amazing skate time. I hadn't skated since I was about nine years old, so I was amazed at how quickly I picked it back up. I tried the regular roller skates first, but I never shared in them as a kid so failed miserably (fall one). Then I got some roller blades and they were much easier but after so many years I had to get used to them again (fall two). It was so much fun, once I got the blades I stayed on the rink pretty much the entire two hours we were there. Then, ten minutes before we were going to leave I took a turn too fast and did a hard face plant (the other two falls were backwards). I got a gash on my head, near my eye, from my glasses. They gave me morphine at the hospital throu an IV but it didn't put a dint in the pain or have any other effect on me. These pain pills they prescribed are the same way. Also, there's a dance party being held here tonight that I was looking forward to but now I can't go. My head hurts too badly and the nurses say I'm not allowed to dance. I've had to stay in my room all week... Monday thru Wendsday I was pretty sick and now this! Life doesn't seem to like me very much. But no matter how many times it knocks me down, I always find my way back to my feet.
