They can hurt us

Some days I think how the people we've let get really close to us and know us really well, how much they could hurt us. I know secrets, big secrets, about some one. A while ago when they got mad at me they told me I could tell everyone, that they didn't care. But I knew they did care. And even though I was mad at them too, I would never tell what they told me. I care about them far too much. And they know that. They were just mad. But it goes to show how deep a wound I could have made. You need to be careful who you let in because some will tell. Not everyone you trust actually cares about you.
